Getting uncomfortable creates growth and opportunities Myth or Truth?

How many times have you heard stepping outside your comfort is where the growth takes place?
Many instagram and tiktok videos sharing influencers " How to do the work" with perfect pictures attached like they stepped into the cover Vogue magazine and all of sudden their life is all sorted just by stepping outside their comfort zone.
This is great, But what about the real work? The Inner work? Where they started from? The failures? The lessons? The inner work? What does uncomfortable mean?
When i look at someone inspiring i don't want to know the method or the strategy i want to know the story.
The reason they wanted the "success" What they learnt from each experience and how much was the inner work before they implemented the strategy to become successful.
I started diving in deep to stories and beginning chapters of many influencing humans that made a impact on my growth and changes.
like Dr Joe Dispenza , Regan Hillyer, Gabriele Bernstein, Brene Brown, Ant Middleton Owners of Successful entrepreneurs.
Each had a-lot in common.
The starting point of where their was nothing left but to change,They were tired of the same challenges and recurrences constantly showing back up to only knock them back down to square one, 80% of the growth and change was all the inner work and healing and 20% was the action they took whilst showing up everyday to make the growth and change that they wanted to see in the outer world.
I believe the conception about getting uncomfortable and out of your comfort zone to make change is just the 20%
You can never make lasting growth if your trying new things just to get the rush of the challenge to only go back to the last state of being before jumping back into another uncomfortable challenge.
Will you learn new things? Sure!
Will it give you courage to jump into something new ? Absolutely.
But the rush of the strategy and implementing that 20 % will never create deep growth and new opportunities.
I have spent most of my twenties and thirties trying to understand why some people have "The Dream" and others don't.
What makes these people different from the other standing next to them?
Were they born into Money?
Where they born with confidence ?
Did they learn the strategy from their parents?
What courses did they do?
What i started to understand was they weren’t different at all. They all had their stories, They all had their hurdles, They all had their failures.
Each and everyone had a start where they were completely different than the person we see now.
So what does it take?
Where am i going wrong when these people had the shitty start, the bumps and hurdles, the lessons and failures that i did?
Only one thing was different ONE..
The inner drive and work to believe that even though the world is showing me right now that this is it , that your belief is nothing but a silly dream or an illusion that will never prevail that you still show up every day as that person who BELIEVES that the highest version is just around the corner.
That was the difference between me and the successful person next to me.
I thought getting outside my comfort zone was the strategy.
But my inner dialog was letting me down.
My inner dialog was what i had to work on.
So lets put this all together.
Each person had the start, Had the fall from grace, had the feeling like they needed and wanted more.
Each person used the same strategy ( The action, Stepping outside their comfort zone, the 20%)
But only one of the people keep showing up each day as the person they desired to be despite the evidence that was showing them in the present.
What Ive learnt that amongst the lessons, that each time i choose to show up each day as the version of me would with the dream already done, the opportunities start to appear that allow me to implement that last 20% by getting uncomfortable with the opportunities that align with my purpose and ideal life.
They show up as friendship failures to clear and allow aligned friendships in
They show up as new career paths in order to make the dream alive.
They show up as seeing things a-lot clearer then the blinded version of what you thought something was, only blows up in order for you to make full sence and clarification of what it really is.
Its the awareness of the truth being shown to you that in order to make room for "the dream" that the old version and what USED to align with you has to disappear in order for the dream to become reality.
THIS IS BEING UNCOMFORTABLE.
The energy that you carry, the belief that you carry will only project back to you what your life is showing you right now.
Change the energy-
By showing up and committing every single day as the highest version of yourself.
Your thoughts,
The beliefs about yourself
The belief that you can be that version.
How would you make decisions?
How would you start your day?
What would you say yes to?
What would you say no to?
What 5 people would you have around you?
Then Implement the last 20%
The action
The getting out of the comfort zone with old state of being.
The aligned actions that come with the challenges that present themselves for the new paths and new opportunities.
The amount of times i have had to keep showing up even though my world felt like it was crumbling has been too many times to even write down.
But let me tell you,
They have got me where i am today.
New Opportunities and the ideal life is there waiting for you admits the crumbling of the outside world.
What feels like the crumbling is an opportunity for you to take whats being shown and implement the new strategy. The one that comes from the inner knowing and belief that what has been presented to you is exactly what you need in order to make the dream true.
Then watch..
The beautiful friendships that roll in.
The job opportunities
The new ideas
The ideal client
The aligned partner
Before implementing a new strategy or jumping into a new challenge have a look at what your inner world is telling you.
Work on that 80% and that last 20% will pop the icing on just perfectly.
